When I first arrived at my foster home I immediately noticed the lack of warm cushy carpet?! Where did it go? How's a girl to walk on these shiny, slippery, surely must be wet all the time floors? Good thing Foma has do this a time a two. She put down towels and these tiny pieces of carpet so I could make my way from the front door to the back door.
Thank God for the big rugs near the back door. I was going to just stay there forever.
But then I learned there was water in the kitchen for us pups and the most amazing smell of food. Ok well this kitchen floor isn't so bad.
Soon I found the scariest place of all had the biggest beds to sleep on but no carpet in sight! This must be some weird form of doggy torture. After some trials and a whole lot of errors, I made it! I learned to walk from one big bed to another. I had to admit they were way better than the rugs by the door.
I wonder what makes this floor so shiny? And why do humans like them this way? Who's that staring back at me?
It's been a couple of weeks now. Foma thinks I haven't noticed that my safety towels and carpets have been disappearing one by one. They're all gone now and I walk on the floors just fine. Well sometimes I slip but I've learned it's best to walk slow and not to panic.
You say you've got shiny floors in your house. Don't worry, I can handle them. Shenna shan't be shaky on shiny surfaces. Try saying that really fast.
Foma says I'm just being silly now so I have to go. I'll be back though with more stories about my life in retirement. Shenna shan't be shaky......... he he he. I better go.
